Knockback Displace
The Knockback Displace module abuses a vanilla Minecraft flaw to deal knockback at different angles.
Direction
Section titled “Direction”Controls the direction at which to deal knockback:
Left / Right / Random
Section titled “Left / Right / Random”You can specify the direction directly, in which case it cannot be controlled in-game.
Strafe
Section titled “Strafe”Your strafe keys (A/D) determine the direction. When neither or both keys are pressed, Knockback Displace does nothing.
Strafe (inverted)
Section titled “Strafe (inverted)”Same as Strafe, except the direction is inverted.
Cooldown
Section titled “Cooldown”Determines how long Knockback displace waits after activating before activating again.
The angle to deal knockback at, this is relative to where you are looking (so without using Knockback Displace, you would be dealing knockback at an angle of 0 degrees).
Hide rotation from players
Section titled “Hide rotation from players”If enabled, this prevents other players from seeing the flicks performed by this module.
Conditions
Section titled “Conditions”Knockback Displace can be configured to only activate if:
- You are not taking knockback
- You are holding a weapon
- Your held item has the knockback enchantment
- The target is facing another direction
